These plates contain various examples of our quarry fauna such as bryozoans, Crinoid stems, brachiopods and trilobite fragments. Each piece is uniquely different! These plate are ideal for study under magnification to see the intricate detail of the fossils.

Mass current accumulation plates
Striispifer is the most common brachiopod in our quarry. Occasionally we come across thick lenses containing thousands of these brachiopods. Sometimes they occur in life position, other times they are positioned on their sides.
